Sea Doo Switch Big Supercharger Installation

To install your supercharger, we suggest looking at the service manual pages below and our video. In the video, we give you a quick rundown of what to disconnect and some tips over the factory manual.

Special tools needed:

– 6″ long ball headed allen socket. Having this on a 1/4″ drive is preferred, but a 3/8″ drive will also.

– #8 star bit socket

– Sea Doo special #8 star bit wrench (Sea Doo PN 529035938), or you can use a 1/4″ 12 point wrench

– An electric ratchet really speeds things up

Things we did NOT have to remove that the manual wants you to:

– Center bracing between the two panels

– The jet pump assembly

– The whole tube coming off the intercooler to the supercharger, just remove the side on the supercharger and tuck out of the way

**Make sure to grease the new supercharger o-rings and shaft before installing**

Biggest pain #1: Getting to the small clamps/hoses on the bottom side of the exhaust manifold nearest to the motor. Coming off is not bad, but going on is a little tricky

Biggest pain #2: The exhaust mount. Those 6mm allen bolts are tucked in there. The inside one especially as the hose is so rigid, it makes it hard to get to.

All doable, just take your time.
