AA Twin Screw Economy Impeller for 2022+ Sea Doo Switch 230 & 300 models
- Looking for a lower cruising RPM and TON of low end dig? This impeller is designed just for that. This will lower peak RPM and drop top speed, but the low end is fantastic.
- The lower RPM will push the Switch along at a lower RPM when cruising as well, which usually makes fuel economy increase.
- Acceleration/power output/speed won’t be as great as a higher RPM impeller.

- For Switch 230 customers: What is the difference between this and our Economy Impeller? The twin screw will lose a bit more performance/speed, but has more thrust/torque. The Economy impeller we offer is right in the middle of this and our performance impeller.
- For reference our Switch 230 (NOTE it has our bigger supercharger and machined nozzle) ran roughly 8200-8300 with our standard impeller. With the Twin Screw we were around 7400-7500 RPM. However, it still ran 44-45mph top speed (half tank of fuel, empty boat) vs 47-48mph with the higher RPM.
- Switch 300 Customers: We still need to test this for exact RPM/speed differences, but based on all the impeller testing we’ve done and on the 230 model, we know this will work excellent for those requiring more thrust. I’d not expect to lose much speed or RPM due to the extra power the 300 motor makes. It should be within 200-300 RPM of OEM and provide top speeds within 2-3mph.
- We always suggest a new wear ring when installing a new impeller. We always personally stay with and highly suggest plastic. They are much easier to change out if you have an issue, and we believe it’s best to have a weak spot. Since the AA impeller is much stronger, it’s important for the wear ring to give out. We’ve used both, and won’t go back to a stainless ring.
- Also fits watercraft models with the 161mm jet pump like the RXPX 300/325 but we have not yet tested on those models to know exact results
